Author Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in publishing with PennScience. We are dedicated to getting your research published in the fastest and most straightforward process possible. We welcome paper submissions from all undergraduate students.
We are currently accepting articles for our next issue to be published next semester. Articles are accepted on a rolling basis, so it is best to submit your article as soon as possible.
To submit an article for publication an abstract must be submitted by October 24, 2010 11:59 PM EST. The corresponding article may be submitted until October 31, 2010 11:59 PM EST for consideration in our upcoming Spring Issue. Abstracts that are not accompanied by a full research article by the October 31st deadline will not be considered for publication. Extensions will be considered on a case by case basis.
Articles in the following scientific fields shall be accepted:

All submissions will not be published until you and your advisor fill out our Author Agreement form. Please print out, complete, sign, scan and email this document to the following address: pennscience@gmail.com

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, LaTeX or PDF document format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- In order for your figures and tables to be published in high quality, we would like you to send us .jpg, .gif, .tiff, or .pdf files of each of your figures. If your article uses unusual symbols or equations, please have these sent in separate .jpg, .gif, .tiff, or .pdf files as well. Please DO NOT send us figures embedded into a word document. Our submissions process will automatically ask you to upload these files when you are ready to start the process.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
